Overlander Nomad is designed for travellers who want a rigid, compact and premium rooftop tent without giving up material quality or useful camp features. Its extruded aluminium shell and honeycomb construction protect the tent while driving, while the exceptionally slim profile reduces the height added to the vehicle.
At camp, STABILUS gas struts assist opening. Inside, the 5 cm high-density foam mattress, anti-condensation layer, warm/cool LED lighting and multifunctional power socket create a practical sleeping space for repeated touring and overlanding trips.

Correct use
Installation, care and storage
Install the tent on compatible crossbars, following the rack and vehicle manufacturer’s positioning and tightening specifications. Recheck every fixing after the first journeys and periodically thereafter. Before closing, remove objects that could press against the fabric, mattress or shell. Close the tent only when the fabric is completely dry. During winter, Overlander recommends removing the tent and storing it in a dry, ventilated space because an airtight closed shell can retain condensation and encourage mould. How many people can sleep in the Overlander Nomad?
Nomad is designed for two people. The mattress is approximately 200 cm long and varies between about 136 and 125 cm in width according to the tent geometry.
Can the ladder remain inside the tent when it is closed?
To maintain the exceptionally low 15 cm closed profile, storing the ladder inside the vehicle is recommended.
Can Nomad be used in colder weather?
The tent uses heavy fabric, includes an anti-condensation layer and has a dedicated opening for a Webasto-type heater duct. Any heater must be installed and operated safely, with exhaust outside the tent and adequate ventilation.
Which vehicles are compatible with Nomad?
Compatibility depends on the vehicle roof limit, crossbar capacity, mounting layout and safe weight distribution. It must be checked against the vehicle and roof-rack manuals, not simply by vehicle category.
